Fleur Noire is about the beauty of being alternative. Of living visibly outside the expected palette. Of choosing depth over brightness. Of embracing the parts of us that thrive in the shadows.

We’rlooking for work that explores:

Reemergence after a period of hiding, change, restraint, or dormancy

Stepping into a new season or new self unapologetically

Alternative beauty — dark, unconventional, cultivated

This can be sensual. It can be defiant. It can be quiet and self-possessed. It can be loud and confrontational.

What matters is intention.

What does it look like to come back stronger? What does it feel like to live outside the mainstream and not flinch? What part of you is ready to bloom — even if it makes you an uncomfortable standout?

This issue is for those who don’t wait for approval. For those who bloom dark. Bloom deliberately.

We look forward to seeing what you create.
